Concrete Floor grinding

Before installing a new floor, whether it's tiles, wood, carpet, vinyl, epoxy or just painting. The concrete substrate needs to be clean, smooth and level. 

Grinding is a crucial to surface preparation before installing a new floor covering. Especially when the concrete slab has residual adhesives from old coverings, or when dealing with a marked, stained, rough or uneven concrete slab.

Any residual adhesive will need to be removed and depending on the new floor, it may need to be made smooth and level. If the concrete slab is damaged, it may also need to be repaired.

It involves the use of specialised machines equipped with rotating abrasive discs or wheels that grind down the surface to create a smooth, even base.
